AGAPE SEMINARY-LOUISVILLE CAMPUS is under The Diocese of The Lamb of God of THE CHARISMATIC OLD CATHOLIC CHURCH.
The Diocese of the Lamb of God is one of several that make up the Charismatic Old Catholic Church. Our mission is to provide valid sacraments to those who have left Roman Catholicism and who are seeking forms of worship and beliefs founded in the traditions of the Early Church. The Diocese is under the ecclesiastical authority of Archbishop Maurice McCormick. Our Clergy are not paid by The Church, but must be self-sufficient in their own ministries and work. Ordained deacons, priests and bishops of the Charismatic Old Catholic Church carry out God's work worldwide. |
Agape Seminary is registered with the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities to grant religious degrees. We are accredited by the International Association of Pastoral Psychologists and the American Institute of Clinical Psychotherapists. Agape Seminary is the seminary of the Charismatic Old Catholic Church; however, it is open to all faiths and to people around the world. We welcome married clergy and women to serve The Lord.
Students will either work directly with Archbishop Maurice McCormick, Chancellor of Agape Seminary at the Louisville, Kentucky address or with other COCC Mentors, Advisors or Faculty.
Although students can complete studies online, courses are also offered at our Florida Campus and Louisville Campus.
Holy Orders are conferred in person, by the "laying on of hands" in Florida, Louisville and at various locations around the world. We ordain both men and women, married or single.
We offer a "Fast Track" educational package for new clergy in consideration of past experience, age and education.

Degrees offered through Agape Seminary are helpful for counselors in private practice, who wish to grow through a doctorate degree, and who want to increase their counseling knowledge.
Who We Are.....
The Charismatic Old Catholic Church can trace its roots to the early Roman Christians and Saint Peter. In the year 1145, Bishops broke away from The Roman Catholic Church. In Utrecht, they founded a new Catholic church, independent from Rome. The list of our clergy is extensive and goes back centuries. Here is a list of recent Apostolic Succession through the Utrecht/Continental Europe succession:
